SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3)—Snow plow drivers are urging drivers to take the roads slowly and avoid passing them. Mark Lawrence has been driving snow plows for Springfield for over 17 years.

Plow drivers were still clearing some streets in the city and suburbs on Thursday, after up to 3.5 inches of snow fell across the area on Wednesday.

As of Tuesday morning, the city’s plows had traveled more than 21,000 lane miles to clear and re-clear streets, which the city said is the equivalent of plowing the entire city seven times.

They plan to plow 20 to 25 business in Virginia Beach before Saturday morning. Berger said, “I'm trying to organize scheduling, and where I’m going first, and how my routes going to be.” ...
