Tornado, Tennessee

Thursday’s storm, which affected several counties in Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky, downed powerlines.
The tornado had maximum winds of 100 mph with a damage path of 3.87 miles, and it was 160 yards wide. It touched down on Sanderfer Road near Jefferson Street and tracked north-northeast.
The Morgan County Emergency Management Agency urged people not to travel to Deer Lodge and Highway 27 in Sunbright until further notice.
A spokesperson for the National Weather Service has confirmed that an EF-1` touched down in Grainger County Thursday evening.
