A former teacher at a prestigious Queensland school lost his job and house after sending phone messages describing sexual fantasies of young boys on an adult chat line, a court has heard.

Today’s featured school is Townsville Grammar School, the oldest secondary school in North Queensland, opening its doors on 16 April 1888.
