ESPN has exercised its option to extend a base-rights media deal with the Atlantic Coast Conference through 2035-36, aligning the timeline with a second deal that covers their partnership for the ACC Network.

ESPN has agreed to prolong its partnership with the Atlantic Coast Conference through 2036. Had the network not picked up the option to extend, the deal between the two parties would've expired in 2027. The ESPN and ACC relationship has spanned more than 35 years and includes ACC Network which was launched in August of 2019. ACC Network, a collaboration between ESPN and the ACC, is one of only three national and fully distributed conference networks. Financial terms were not disclosed.
