By Lori Ewing MANCHESTER, England (Reuters) -Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice struck in the second half to cancel out Bruno Fernandes's free kick but Mikel Arteta's men could only muster a 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Sunday in a big blow to their Premier League title chances.

Arsenal return to play on Wednesday, facing PSV in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 (4 p.m. Paramount+ ). The Gunners already pummeled PSV 7-1 in the first leg so they may take a more lax approach midweek before a big Premier League clash on Sunday against Chelsea.

Bruno Fernandes stepped up and scored from a free kick just outside Arsenal's penalty area to take the lead. Whether it was by design, switching off or what have you, David Raya gave the Red Devils captain all the space in the world to score. All he had to do was beat the wall, and he did just that sending Old Trafford into a frenzy.
