Tropical Storm Barry was a short-lived system in the Bay of Campeche that slid into Mexico with heavy rainfall on the final days of June 2025.

Heavy rainfall, strong winds, and localized flooding are concerns for eastern Mexico, particularly with the expectation of up to 45 mph winds at landfall.

The depression is expected to strengthen over the next 24 hours, likely to hit the Mexican coastline Monday as Tropical Storm Barry.
