1 killed, another injured in shooting near Brown Middle School in Kaufman County, police say
KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — Police are investigating outside a Kaufman County middle school and nearby neighborhood after two people were shot Friday afternoon, officials said. According to police, two men were shot. Both were taken by helicopter to local hospitals, however, one has since died from his injuries.
Surveillance video captured the sound of several gunshots in the Amber Fields neighborhood in Forney Friday afternoon. The neighborhood is near Brown Middle School.
