In Season 1, we saw Carmy mentoring Sydney (or at least trying to) while they ran The Beef. In Season 2, we saw them work as collaborators, creating the menu for The Bear and running the new kitchen.

It’s a losing battle every day in the restaurant business, and as Carmy pushes himself harder than ever and demands excellence from his crew, they do their best to match his intensity.

Carmy does little more than painstakingly assemble dishes only to throw them in the garbage. Viewers could be forgiven for wanting to do the same with the series after this season's 10 episodes.
