Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition is officially coming to the Mac this week. CD PROJEKT RED has announced that the game will be available on Thursday, July 17 for Macs powered by Apple Silicon through the Mac App Store, GOG.com, Steam, and Epic Games Store.
According to a spec sheet shared on the CD Projekt Red website, the minimum specification to play the game will require an M1 chip with 16GB of RAM. The recommended specs bump that to an M3 Pro with 18GB of RAM, while the “very high fidelity” spec requires an M3 Ultra or M4 Max chip with 36GB of RAM.
Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition requires a Mac with 16GB of unified memory and an Apple silicon chip (M1 or later). It also requires macOS 15.5 or later “for the best experience.” Following the introduction of AAA games like Baldur’s Gate 3 and Assassin’s Creed Shadows on macOS, it could herald a new era for Mac gamers.
Earlier this summer, Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition made its debut on Nintendo Switch 2. Now, CD Projekt Red is bringing the game to Mac almost five years after it was released on PC and consoles.
