Ash marks a big career moment for musician-turned-filmmaker Flying Lotus. “This is my first real movie,” he claimed. Technically, he made his directorial debut 2017 phantasmagoria Kuso “but this is the first time with a completely pro approach. We had production offices and people had trailers.”
