Senayet Getachew, 19, of Ethiopia won the Houston Aramco Half Marathon by four seconds over Weini Kelati of the U.S. Kelati set the U.S. record.

For the second year in a row, Weini Kelati sets the American record in the women's half marathon at the Houston Half.

Conner Mantz made history Sunday by besting an American running record that had stood for 18 years. The former BYU runner finished the Houston Half Marathon in 59:17, 26 seconds faster than Ryan Hall’s 59:43 from 2007.

Dominic Ondoro will be going for his third title in the Chevron Houston Marathon on Sunday and Jemail Yimer looks  to repeat in the Aramco Houston Half Marathon

Weini Kelati finished second at the Houston Half Marathon in 1:06:09, 16 seconds faster than the time she ran at the race last year.
