This summer, the Newport Jazz Festival will return to Fort Adams State Park in Rhode Island for the iconic cultural institution’s 71st edition. Following this week’s initial lineup announcement, the daily lineups have been revealed.

Newport Jazz Festival has unveiled a star-studded lineup for its summer weekend. Janelle Monáe, the Roots, and Jacob Collier will headline the three-day event, which will take place Aug. 1-3 at Fort Adams State Park in Rhode Island.

Dozens of other artists will take the stage, too, and many have New Orleans roots, including Connick, Lil Wayne, Big Freedia, Trombone Shorty, Irma Thomas, The Revivalists, Tank and the Bangas, Branford Marsalis, Ledisi and PJ Morton.
