Everton are exploring a deal to sign Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker, according to reports.Walker was shipped out on loan to AC Milan in January but has since returned to City after the Serie A side declined to pursue a permanent deal.
While the Toffees could be a good option for the Englishman to continue playing in the Premier League, Walker has reportedly rejected an offer from Everton in the past and the defender has revealed the reason behind that.
"Kyle Walker has been a wonderful player during his time at Manchester City. He has got a medal haul there and won lots of titles, but I just feel he is probably past his best now. "He has definitely regressed. The things that made him such a strong player were his speed and pace, and I don't think he's at the level he was maybe even a year ago.
