WESTFIELD, Ind. – Torque GC star Sebastian Munoz shot a record-setting 59 in Round 1 at LIV Golf Indianapolis while Torque GC Captain Joaquin Niemann and Legion XIII Captain Jon Rahm continued to battle it out for the season-long Individual Championship. Here are some other news, notes and stats from the first round.
Mariners closer Andrés Muñoz eventually remained in the game Tuesday evening but had to be checked out by trainers after becoming dizzy in the Baltimore heat.
In the middle of the outfield at Volunteer Stadium at the Little League complex stood Mariners reliever Andrés Muñoz with his arm around Team Mexico’s starting pitcher, Gregorio Madrid. This was a moment 12-year-old’s across the globe can only dream of.
For his effots, Munoz banked the $4 million first-place prize from the $20 million total purse. In addition, he will share in the $3 million team prize (split four ways) as his Torque GC won the team portion of the 2025 LIV Golf Indianapolis event.
