The next expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket is on its way, and you won’t have long to wait before more than 100 new cards are taking up space in your digital bind

The new Pokemon TCG Pocket Space-Time Smackdown expansion set has been announced with a release date less than a week away. There'll be dozens of new cards for players to collect, two new booster packs to pick from, new legendaries based on those from the Sinnoh region, and more besides.

When you’ve filter through your collection in Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, you may notice an option to filter for Pokémon Tool cards. There’s nothing ever there, because Pokémon TCG Pocket doesn’t currently have any Pokémon Tool cards. But that appears to be changing with the Space-Time Expansion announced Thursday.

Pokémon TCG Pocket is closing out January with a bang. The hit mobile game is getting a much-needed content refresh later this month in the form of a new set called Space-Time Smackdown. Two separate booster packs will feature Dialga and Palkia on their covers,

Pokémon TCG Pocket's next expansion is Space-Time Smackdown, adding new cards and highly-anticipated features on January 30, 2025. The expansion comes a month after the last major update, Mythical Island.

The Pokémon Company has announced the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket Trade feature and a new expansion to collect, Space-Time Smackdown, coming soon.
