Tijjani Reijnders grabbed a brace and Erling Haaland scored as Manchester City finished their pre-season with victory over Palermo in Italy. The Dutch midfielder put in an impressive display as a half-time substitute, hitting two goals and almost grabbing a hat-trick towards the end of the match.

Manchester City must wait before they know if Phil Foden will be available for their first Premier League game of the season. The 25-year-old missed the Palermo trip with an ankle injury and while it is not thought to be a big problem it may yet rule him out for another week.
