Red flag warnings signaling wildfire danger have been issued for parts of Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Montana and nearly the entire state of Minnesota.

The Wisconsin DNR has issued a Red Flag Warning for multiple northern Wisconsin counties for extreme fire danger.

Elevated fire danger will exist May 12-13 as warm temperatures, low humidity levels and gusty winds become mixed with dry, fine vegetation and grasses, according to the weather service.
