SEATTLE - Police are searching for a suspect following a shooting in Seattle’s Yesler Terrace neighborhood on Tuesday. The Seattle Police Department (SPD) made the initial announcement on social media at around 11:15 a.m. According to the SPD, one person was shot near the intersection of Broadway and East Fir Street.

About a dozen officers roamed around Broadway and East Fir Street, where streets were closed off with police cars.

Seattle police are investigating a shooting that left one person injured Tuesday near the intersection of Broadway and East Fir Street. The incident happened in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Officers were called to the area and found one person hurt by gunfire. The extent of the victim’s injuries has not yet been released.
