Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth went on Fox & Friends to defend himself against claims that he shared sensitive information on a Signal chat with his wife, lawyer and brother.

U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy, U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal, U.S. Rep. Joe Courtney and U.S. Rep. Rosa DeLauro called for Pete Hegseth to be fired.

The news comes about a month after the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic was mistakenly added to a separate Signal chat with national security leaders.
