Monday's severe weather moving through Minnesota is creating dangerous conditions. According to the National Weather Service, a tornado was observed near Fairmont, Minnesota on Monday afternoon. The federal agency says it also received "multiple tornado reports" near Winnebago in Faribault County.

As Siouxland prepares for severe weather, one city is still picking up the pieces from the last major storm over a week ago.

Storms are possible in the Chicago area Monday evening and night, but the likelihood has dropped. A warm front will push high temperatures into the 80s with increasing winds by the afternoon and into the evening,

There is a marginal chance of severe weather for Tuesday with medium chances of hail, heavy rain, and wind in the evening. High pressure remains in control on Monday, allowing it to be sunny and warm.
