Beyoncé’s mother, businesswoman Tina Knowles, discussed her breast cancer diagnosis during an interview with “CBS Mornings” co-host Gayle King posted on Monday. Knowles, 71, said her physicians found two tumors in her left breast - one benign and the other with Stage 1 cancer - during a mammogram appointment last year.

Tina Knowles wants women to stay on top of their mammogram appointments. In an interview with People, Knowles revealed she was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer in her left breast last July.
