The United States men's national team broke out of their rut in a big way, defeating Trinidad and Tobago 5-0 to kick off the group stage of the Concacaf Gold Cup on Sunday. A brace from Malik Tillman and a brace of assists from Diego Luna were enough for the USMNT to break their four-game losing streak,

The U.S., which opened with victories over Trinidad and Tobago and invited guest Saudi Arabia, won its group for the 17th time in 18 Gold Cups. The Americans have 43 wins, one loss and five draws in group play, going 3-0 for the seventh time.

The USMNT's player ratings will be mostly good after Mauricio Pochettino's men opened its Gold Cup with a 5-0 win over Trinidad and Tobago that snapped a four-game losing skid across all competitions.
