Brentford have rejected Nottingham Forest ’s opening bid for Yoane Wissa. Forest are understood to have offered around £20million for the forward, but the Bees have no plans to sell the forward this month. Wissa is a long-term target for Forest, who were interested in a deal last summer and are expected to be undeterred by Brentford’s stance.

Nottingham Forest have reportedly submitted a £22million bid for Brentford striker Yoane Wissa as Nuno Espirito Santo's side continue their push for Champions League qualification.

It's understood Forest boss Nuno is keen to pair Wisse alongside centre-forward Chris Wood at the City Ground. Wissa has 11 goals in 19 Premier League matches this season and his deal with Brentford runs to 2026.
