The chemical inventory module provides the following important features: Electronic inventory can be accessed at any time through BioRAFT. Researchers can manage volumes and storage locations.

A working chemical inventory should be maintained always, but at least twice per year the staff or the designated lab personnel should go through the inventory to verify that the inventory is correct.
