In the Oval Office on Wednesday, President Donald Trump announced the suspension and review of security clearances for Covington and Burling employees who worked with special counsel Jack Smith to be suspended and put under review.

The White House said President Donald Trump will sign a memo suspending the security clearances of several employees of Covington & Burling LLP after they assisted Jack Smith's probes.
