Iga Swiatek looks to reach the Australian Open final for the first time as she faces Madison Keys at the Rod Lever Arena in the women’s singles semi-finals this morning. The Pole’s only appearance at stage of the tournament came in 2022 when she was beaten by Danielle Collins in straight sets.

Now, she will be facing another American, Madison Keys in the semifinal clash. Also, Keys secured her spot in the semifinals with a 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 win over Elina Svitolina in the quarterfinals.

Swiatek will face No. 19 Madison Keys of the USA on Thursday night for a berth in the final. The other women’s semi-final is No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, the two-time defending champion, against her good friend, No. 11 Paula Badosa.
