Republicans in the Arizona Senate approved legislation that would force local and state law enforcement to help federal officials carry out the Trump administration’s deportation effort.

According to ICE data, as of earlier this month, there are 41,169 undocumented immigrants in ICE detention facilities. More than half of them, 22,538, had no criminal record. Wright is concerned more undocumented immigrants without criminal records will be picked up as the Trump administration applies more pressure on ICE to meet a quota.
