Locksley has never coached in the NFL before. Prior to joining Maryland as their head coach, he spent three years at Alabama ultimately becoming their offensive coordinator. He’s been with the Terrapins since 2019 and after a rough first two seasons (5-12, 3-11 Conference Record combined), Maryland showed signs of improvement in 2021.
Despite those moves, Maryland coach Mike Locksley still has his work cut out for him. In a tough Big Ten, the Terps need to keep adding talent or could be looking at a long season after the departures of so many players.
