Arthur Kaliyev scored his first goal as a member of the New York Rangers on Thursday night against the Utah Hockey Club. Kaliyev capitalized on a rebound from Filip Chytil’s shot, finding the back of the net for the first time this season.

The boxing-out issues continued against Utah. A minute into the game, Utah’s Ian Cole fired a point shot tipped by teammate Barrett Hayton. Igor Shesterkin made the initial stop, but Matias Maccelli got away from K’Andre Miller and buried the rebound.

After skating on the right wing of the third line alongside Chris Kreider and Filip Chytil on Tuesday night, Kaliyev has already played with six different Rangers. He also lined up next to Brett Berard and Jonny Brodzinski in his Blueshirts debut before skating next to Jimmy Vesey and Sam Carrick in the following contest.
