Mohamed Salah has admitted that he is 'frightened' about going back to Liverpool in the knowledge that Diogo Jota will not be there. On Thursday, it was confirmed that Jota had been tragically killed in a car accident in Spain alongside his younger brother Andre. The pair were travelling in a vehicle when it went off the A-52 road, causing a fire.

Mo Salah is set to cut his holiday short following the death of Liverpool teammate Diogo Jota, according to reports. Jota, 28, and his brother Andre Silva died in a car crash in the early hours of Thursday (July 3).

Diogo Jota's teammates at Liverpool including Virgil van Dijk and Jordan Henderson have been expressing their grief following the forward's death.
