Aaron Rodgers is on his way out of New York. The Jets plan to part ways with the veteran quarterback, leaving the future Hall of Famer searching for his third NFL home.

After two tumultuous seasons with the New York Jets, it was announced on Thursday that the team would not be bringing back quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The four-time National Football League Most Valuable Player Award winner was expected to rejuvenate one of the most dysfunctional teams in the league after being traded from the Green Bay Packers prior to the 2023 season but instead only added to the chaos.

“Rodgers in a 49ers uniform would also bring his career full circle. San Francisco famously passed on the California product in the 2005 NFL Draft. Even though Rodgers would become a legend in Green Bay, he did suffer multiple postseason defeats to the 49ers along the way.”
