Windsor Stewardson-Strasburg's duo Hayden Porter and Myles Verdeyen won the state championship at the recent IHSA bass fishing finals at Lake Shelbyville.

A 43-year-old woman died in a boating accident at Lake Pueblo State Park on July 19. The accident involved a powered watercraft and contact with the engine propeller.
