Free single- and double-grind wood mulch is available for residents and businesses at the Cheyenne Compost Facility while supplies last.

The Mostoller Landfill in Somerset will close at the end of the year. The facility, owned by Waste Management (WM), recently announced it would close at the end of Q4. It first opened in late 1999.
