Wild turkeys are on the minds of a lot of Minnesotans right now, given that the spring wild turkey hunting season is upon us.

The Old Hickory Distillery (which eventually became Boulevard Distillery) changed hands to Robert and Alvin Gould in 1949, and Nichols was still buying his Wild Turkey Bourbon from them for a while.
