A NJ state trooper has been arrested and charged after being accused of killing his dog inside his condo in Wayne, assaulting a police officer, and destroying street signs, according to an affidavit.

The New Jersey state trooper that was arrested in Wayne on Thursday was going through a "personal crisis," according to Wayne Blanchard, president of the State Troopers Fraternal Association.
