A bruit is not always diagnostic of transplant renal artery stenosis because a bruit may be caused by altered blood flow in the iliac arteries.
Cardiac and respiratory examinations were unremarkable, and there was neither nephromegaly, a renal bruit nor flank tenderness. There was no peripheral edema or asterixis.
There was audible bruit at the AVF, which appeared mature. There was no cyanosis or blanching of the left hand. Radial pulse was 2+ bilaterally. There was no facial or neck swelling.
