BRYCE CANYON, Utah (KUTV) — The bodied of two hikers were recovered after a nearly 400-foot fall from a steep cliff at Bryce Canyon. Officials with the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office the man and woman fell about 380 feet from Inspiration Point sometime Monday night or early Tuesday morning.

Authorities believe that the tourists were living out of a U-Haul vehicle that was found nearby in Bryce Canyon.

BRYCE CANYON CITY, Utah (AP) — Two people died in a 380-foot (116-meter) fall from a viewing area in southern Utah’s Bryce Canyon National Park. Tourists spotted the bodies Tuesday below Inspiration Point after the two fell late Monday or early Tuesday, the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
