Two massive waterspouts got very close to shocked boaters on the Manatee River in Bradenton.

What started as an ordinary afternoon on a Florida river quickly morphed into a breathtaking and heart-pounding spectacle for boaters.

A family was heading back to dry land when two of the funnel formations suddenly sprung up. “It looked like something from a movie,” one of them said.
