Kittens or puppies? Animals left at shelter turned out to be foxes — again. It’s the latest case of someone mistaking wild baby animals such as coyotes or bobcats for abandoned domestic pets.

They were able to determine pretty quickly that these kitten-looking creatures weren’t your run-of-the-mill domestic pets. The pair were later identified as a gray foxes.
