Backyard flocks are being blamed for the latest Salmonella outbreak in the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). There have been seven total cases across six states, the CDC said in a press release Monday.

At least seven people have gotten sick after coming in contact with the poultry, but only one person in Illinois has become ill.
