Boeing now expects worldwide demand for 43,600 additional commercial airplanes over the next 20 years, slightly lower than its earlier forecast

An Air India crash Thursday involved a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, which the aircraft manufacturer first delivered 14 years ago.

The Air India plane that crashed in Ahmedabad on June 12 was a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. As per a report, Air India had 34 Boeing 787 airframes in its fleet before the crash.

A helicopter crashed in the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand on Sunday, killing seven people on board. Local officials said the aircraft was flying from the town of Kedarnath to Guptkashi, which is a prominent Hindu pilgrimage site in the Himalayas.
