Shots were fired during an attempted robbery at a post office in Midwood, Brooklyn on Monday afternoon. It happened at around 1:15 p.m. at the Midwood Station Post Office on Coney Island Avenue near Avenue J. Exclusive video captured the sound of the shots being fired and the suspect fleeing the scene.

An attempted robbery at a Brooklyn post office led to gunfire; the suspect fled on a moped, but no injuries were reported.

The robber fired off multiple rounds inside the Midwood branch on Coney Island Ave. near Avenue I about 1:10 p.m. Monday, cops said.
