Carey Mulligan is tapping into her offscreen rock roots with buzzy indie, "The Ballad of Wallis Island." Mulligan, who is married to Mumford & Sons founder Marcus Mumford, plays a musician in the Focus feature.

Focus Features has set a March 28 release date for The Ballad of Wallis Island ahead of its world premiere at this month's Sundance Film Festival.
