The Cowboys are the only NFL team whose owner is also the general manager. Jerry Jones makes the roster decisions and has since he bought the team in 1989.

Jerry Jones gave a surprisingly honest answer on Monday when asked if he had considered stepping down as GM of the Cowboys.
