Could Dodge be back in NASCAR? According to The Athletic, the auto brand is aiming to rejoin the NASCAR Truck Series in 2026 with the goal of competing again in the Cup Series in 2027. Once a mainstay in the popular Truck Series, Dodge fielded entries from the series’ inception in 1995 through the 2016 season.

New reports suggest that Dodge is pursuing an entry in the NASCAR Truck Series after weeks of rumors and speculation.

NASCAR has said that it’s in deep discussions with automakers looking at joining its circuit, and two reports have pegged Dodge/Ram parent company Stellantis as one that could enter as soon as next year.

Ram is expected to join Chevy, Ford, and Toyota in the NASCAR Truck Series as the division's fourth manufacturer in 2026 after a hiatus lasting over a decade.

Dodge is reportedly eyeing a return to NASCAR. According to The Athletic's Jordan Bianchi, Dodge has begun the process to re-join the Truck Series as soon as 2026. The American car manufacturer would then aim to compete in the Cup Series in 2027 or 2028.
