Minutes before touching down at Toronto Pearson International Airport after relatively uneventful trip from Minneapolis, Delta Flight 4819 was cleared for landing on runway 23 under a westerly wind with gusts of about 38 miles per hour.

At least two passengers on Delta Flight 4819 are suing the airline and its subsidiary Endeavor Air for severe physical injuries and emotional distress.

Delta said that claims spreading online alleging the captain and first officer had failed training events were false, and both crew members are Federal Aviation Administration-certified for their positions.
