Landeskog last suited up for Colorado in June 2022. Since then, it’s been nothing but surgeries and pain and setbacks.

The Colorado Avalanche activated captain Gabriel Landeskog off injured reserve, but again delayed his return after nearly three years.

The veteran forward was one of the first players out for warmups ahead of Game 2 between the Stars and Avalanche at American Airlines Center. That turned out to be the only time Landeskog saw the ice Monday.
