The Garden State Parkway is closed between exits 63 and 80, as the fire has now spread across 1,200 acres. Buses are subject to up to 45-minute delays, according to the NJ Transit website.

The wildfire is already the largest wildfire in New Jersey this year at 13.2 square miles (8,500 acres) burned but only 10% contained as of Wednesday morning.
