The noise around the Cincinnati Bengals trading defensive end Trey Hendrickson had cratered. Justifiably so, too, considering it's extremely unlikely, given the leverage the team holds and what unfolded so far.

ESPN NFL analyst Peter Schrager suggested Tuesday during "Pat McAfee Show" that if the Cincinnati Bengals choose to select Texas A&M edge Shemar Stewart in the upcoming NFL draft, "that suddenly makes Trey Hendrickson a lot more easy to get rid of."

The Bengals tried to trade Hendrickson earlier this spring, but could not find a deal that they liked. They had given Hendrickson the right to shop his wares around the league and try to solicit a trade.
