NBA players sometimes get attention for the wrong and unexpected reasons. New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns is one of them, who gets the limelight whether it’s for his on-court performance or his expressive personality off the court.

Karl-Anthony Towns received backlash on social media after the Knicks center said that he waned to dunk on Jesus.

The lights weren’t quite as bright this week when Nacua and Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns hung out at the Rose Bowl for an event but Puka got up once again. He impressed KAT with a powerful one-handed dunk. “Way more athletic,” Towns said.

Karl-Anthony Towns credits his dad. “He was a high school coach, a damn good one too in Jersey [at] Piscataway Vo-Tech [for 15 years],” Towns said Monday after practice.

Mikal Bridges will enter the 2025-26 season on an expiring deal, unless he and the Knicks can agree to an extension beforehand.

Karl-Anthony Towns hasn't been with the New York Knicks long, and this trade has him out the door for a familiar face in the league.
